CIRI reads a seller's own calendar to know when they're free. It reads busy and free times only, never event details.
For sellers: connecting a calendar
- Go to Settings, Calendar availability, and press Add calendar.
- Give it a name and paste the calendar's iCal link (starting https:// or webcal://). Most calendar apps share one under Settings, Share calendar.
- Save calendar. CIRI syncs it every 15 minutes.
- You can add up to 8. Press Make default on one: listings without their own calendar use it.
A listing's own calendar
A listing can use its own calendar instead of your default, for example a camera kit on a different diary from your shoots. Busy time on one calendar then only blocks the listings that use it. A studio room can follow its venue's calendar.
Kit for hire needs a working calendar to be listed. Without one it's hidden from Browse until you choose one or set a default.
Time off
Under Time off, block whole dates you're away. Time off and confirmed CIRI bookings block all your listings.
For clients: what a card says
- Available, or Earliest followed by a day: read from the seller's calendar.
- Availability on request: CIRI can't read a calendar for it, so ask in your inquiry.
- When you pick a date and time, only times free for the whole booking are offered, and a time someone else has already paid for never is.
