You cancel one item at a time. Nothing else in the project changes.
If you cancel
Open the item and press Cancel item. The screen shows exactly what you get back before you confirm. CIRI's standard schedule applies to bookings today:
- 72 hours or more before the start: 100% of the item's price.
- 48 to 72 hours: 75%.
- 24 to 48 hours: 50%.
- Less than 24 hours: 50%.
The 12% service fee and any add-ons are kept, unless you bought Security Protection and you're inside its grace, when the whole item price and its share of the fee come back. An item with no confirmed start is treated as outside every window.
Confirming records the cancellation; CIRI then reviews and executes the refund to your card.
If the seller cancels
You get back everything you paid for that item, including its share of the 12% fee, and the refund runs straight away. The seller is paid nothing for it. Add-ons are not refunded.
Before you've paid
Nothing has been taken, so there's nothing to refund.

Calendars: how sellers show when they're free
For sellers: connecting a calendar, a default calendar and a listing's own calendar, time off. For clients: what the availability on a card means.

The brief and the terms on each item
Every item in a project has its own brief, read only by its seller, and a receipt of what was agreed: price, date, revisions and cancellation.
